The short and long of it is pretty simple. Deviant Art has always pestered me because of the way a free and premium membership work. I understand that as a company Deviant Art needs to make money in some way but the stark contrast of a free and premium membership is so jarring and unfair that it's not even worth having anything less than a premium membership. And the thing is...no one should have to pay for a few of the key features on the site. In particular critiques. Yes people can be mean when you ask for help and try to steer you the wrong way but how does a premium membership stop this? You would think that an art site would want as many people to critique other people's work as much as possible. Yeah you could give one without a premium but the form does make it easier to collect thoughts and such. Honestly the things that come to mind that a premium membership should have is CSS styling, journal skins, being able to customize your page with extra widgets, no ads, and being able to promote your sub galleries. I'm sure I'm missing something, but those are the things that jump in my head. Anything seriously art related should be included in a free membership. And of course it doesn't help that it's Free Premium Membership Day.
Anyway, yeah I'm pretty much done with DA unless something sparks an interest to come back. If you really want to continue to follow me you can do so on Twitter: [link] Or Fur Affinity(WARNING ADULT CONTENT VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK): [link]
Anyway, hope you folks have a good day.

Anyway, I promise that, if you enable commenting of your art I will not insult or harass you in any way, shape or form. Your art is good, keep up the good work.
I signed on as a credit, and I feel that because I angered so many people at once with my criticism I no longer belong here posting comments.
